Shanghai, April 23, 2025 — As part of their visit to China, a delegation from FKG (the Scandinavian Vehicle Components Group) engaged in a day of exploration and exchange with leading Chinese automotive OEMs at Shanghai Auto Show, including Geely and Xiaomi. The visit highlighted the growing importance of cross-border collaboration in the rapidly evolving New Energy Vehicle (NEV) sector.

Culminating the day’s activities, Business Sweden hosted an evening reception under the “Pioneer the Possible” platform — a strategic initiative aimed at fostering Swedish innovation and partnerships focusing on green transition in China. The event brought together 20–30 participants from both Swedish and Chinese automotive ecosystems for an evening of insights, dialogue, and networking.

The program featured keynote presentations from the China Society of Automotive Engineers, GASGOO, and FKG, covering topics such as China’s NEV policy landscape, supply chain dynamics, and opportunities for Swedish suppliers.
