Green supply chains summit Shenzhen 2023

On September 19th, Business Sweden and the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing organized a Green Supply Chains Summit in Shenzhen, as part of the Pioneer the possible platform. The summit builds on the success of the earlier summit held in Suzhou in May and was supported by the Social Responsibility Committee of the Chinese Electronics Standardization Association and Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality.

The event focused on ESG management and sustainable supply chains from the angle of global trends of legislation on sustainability. Insights and best practice were shared by industry experts, leading brands, suppliers and industry associations specializing in ESG and sustainable development. The event also aimed to explore the opportunities and challenges posed by global sustainability legislation in the supply chain, and to provide guidance to companies on how to mitigate potential risks.

Representatives from Autoliv and IKEA shared their best practices and valuable insights regarding ESG management. They also discussed the opportunities and challenges that global sustainability legislation trends present to supply chains.

Other distinguished speakers and panelists include representatives from EY, Guangdong Academy of Corporate Sustainable Development, Foxconn, Richangsheng Group, China Packaging Federation, China Construction Bank, New Energy Division of Shenzhen Automotive Repair Industry Association, Technical Committee Chairman of IPC-1401CSR Management System Standard etc. They actively participated in various thematic sessions during the event, sharing their findings and practical perspectives with participants.
