On June 18, the 2025 International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicle Congress & Exhibition (FCVC) kicked off in Shanghai, co-organized by the China Society of Automotive Engineers (China-SAE) and the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association (IHFCA). This year, two Swedish hydrogen industry pioneers—along with Business Sweden—participated in the Technical Salon Talks to showcase Sweden’s leadership in sustainable hydrogen solutions, aligned with its national Hydrogen Strategy, and highlight advanced material innovations for the sector.
Caroline Qi (Technical Marketing Specialist) and Leo Zhang (Key Account Manager) represented Alleima, presenting material selection strategies for hydrogen applications, with a focus on bipolar plates and tubing solutions. Yaowen Wang, Regional President (China) of Impact Coatings, addressed key technical challenges in hydrogen energy and introduced PVD coating solutions tailored for diverse industry scenarios. Concluding the session, Luting Fan, Investment Advisor and Consultant at Business Sweden, provided an overview of Sweden’s hydrogen infrastructure development, pilot project advancements, and the robust market foundation supporting high-quality foreign investments to accelerate the country’s hydrogen industry growth.
