April 1st 2025, Stockholm: In a significant step to enhance cooperation on sustainable development, Sweden and China have announced the formation of a Joint Working Group on Green Transition Investments. The initiative was formalized through a Joint Statement issued in Stockholm, aiming to strengthen collaboration under the existing Joint Committee.

The statement was endorsed in the presence of Håkan Jevrell, Sweden’s State Secretary for Foreign Trade, and Ling Ji, Vice Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.

The Working Group on Green Transition Investments will build on the experiences gained from the “Pioneer the possible” platform.
